It’s been a whirlwind of excitement here in the enchanting city of Paris, where I’ve had the privilege of experiencing a week filled with inspiration, professional growth, and a touch of celebrity magic. I am thrilled to share with you the vibrant tapestry of experiences that filled my week, from a whirlwind of insights at an exclusive event to the magical melodies of Taylor Swift echoing through the Parisian streets.
Let me take you through the highlights:
🗼 🎤 A Texas-Sized Energy Boost: Sharing Insights and Vision at My Keynote Address in Paris
One of the highlights of my week was delivering a keynote address at a prestigious event for The Entrepreneurs Club of Neuilly in Paris (Le Club des Entrepreneuses de Neuilly-sur-Seine – so chic, right?). It was an honor to share insights, ideas, and vision with an audience eager to learn and engage – and huge thanks to Agathe Benhamou for the invitation. It was also an honor to talk about success, The Keren Way – meaning, the self-actualization way. To me, success is only about one thing: self-actualization. If you have been reading this newsletter for a while, you know that the idea comes from the work of Maslow.
Self-actualization, in Maslow’s hierarchy of needs, is the highest level of psychological development, where personal potential is fully realized after basic bodily and ego needs have been fulfilled. The highest level of psychological development in Maslow’s hierarchy of needs is self-transcendence.
The exchange of knowledge and the opportunity to connect with fellow professionals around this as our new “entrepreneurial north star” was truly enriching, reminding me of the power of collaboration and shared learning experiences, and as always – of how much I love teaching. As we explored the #7SecretstoSuccess, the room buzzed with anticipation, eager to embrace the exciting journey ahead. That’s … what I’m talking about.
🎤 Taylor Swift Concert: A Night to Remember
You will be thrilled to learn, I am sure, that it wasn’t all work and no play. I had the incredible opportunity to attend the electrifying Taylor Swift concert at La Defense on her first leg back on her world tour. The atmosphere was next-level, with fans from all walks of life (and especially, from the USA) coming together to celebrate music, unity, and the joy of being in the moment. Taylor’s performance was nothing short of spectacular, showcasing her talent, passion, impeccable precision, and undeniable stage presence. From her chart-topping hits to heartfelt ballads, every moment was a reminder of the transformative power of music to uplift and inspire. Also, one of the surprise songs we got was “Maroon,” a personal favorite of mine. And among her 23 new costumes, I could have sworn I spotted not one but two Madonna tributes. It’s great to see continuity in pop, and that just made me so happy.
Beyond the glitz and glamour, Taylor’s journey is a testament to resilience, empowerment, and the courage to speak your truth. In her music, we find solace, strength, and a sense of belonging—a reminder that no matter where life takes us, we’re never alone.
You know what? I hope that’s – above anything else – what I brought the superstars in France. Transcendence through connection. That’s what this is about.

It’s all about purpose, you see. Whether it’s someone like me delivering a keynote address to inspire others or the magic of a Taylor Swift concert, each experience enriches our individual journey. The important thing is to let ourselves sing and make our purpose and desire for self-actualization the most important facet of our life.
